Claire Spurway
Meet Claire Spurway our founder and World Champion athlete.
I started athletics at the age of twelve, when I was guided by my PE teacher to join an athletics squad,Cannock and Stafford AC.
With much success as a junior and progressing to Olympic Trials, I was eventually forced to take a few years out of the sport due to injury.
I returned to athletics in 2016, with Olympic coach Tom McNab, and started to compete in Masters athletics.
I became World Masters 60m Champion in March, 2019. I was thankful to hold the World, European and British Masters 60m titles all at the same time.
I'm also a sport science graduate from Loughborough University, a qualified UKA athletics coach and own Claire Spurway Fitness, a World Class personal training company.
